This is like anything keep it simple and its more effective: Learn something new you. It's as simple as that. Read new book about a topic you knew nothing about before. Learning does give the brain a work out.

Singing is a great way to exercise the brain. If you ever find yourself stuck on a solution try singing it does work. Singing uses a different part of the brain than speaking does giving this side of your brain a workout! You may even notice you become more creative with your ideas and time.

This is a fun way to spend your time, but it also makes you use your brain in a way you would not normally use. A new puzzle every now and again is a great way to exercise your brain.

Consider crossword puzzles, Sudoku, or word searches. These will help you become an effective thinker.

Another way to exercise your brain is to create a healthy mindset. Simply remove any negative thoughts with positive ones. Repeat positive statements over and over throughout the day.
